CAM Engineer for POST-PROCESSORS development (ENG) – closed

We are looking for CAM Engineers for POST-PROCESSORS development who will develop a Dynamic Integrated Manufacturing System to automate the process from Automated Quoting, Automated Preparation to Automated Routing & programming. The system will reduce 70% of the manual work, increase the utilization of machine and ability for global scale by using next-gen technologies including Azure Cloud, NX CAM, hyperMILL, VERICUT, PTC Creo.
For this project, you will work for our customer, one of Germany’s largest manufacturers of cutting machine tools and a manufacturer of CNC-controlled Lathes and Milling machines.
The Job
- Participation in the implementation of a post-processor platform
- Development of the platform, based on requirements and specifications for generalized post-processors
- Programming of customer-specific post-processors
- Commissioning of post-processors at customer site(remote)
- Development of special modules to improve the usability of post-processors for machine tools
- Error analysis in 3rd Level Support Applicant profile
Your Skills and Experience
- Completed technical studies or completed technical education or in-depth professional experience
- Experience in programming CAM systems
- In-depth knowledge of control systems for machine tools
- Knowledge in the field of cutting machine tools as well as combined technologies (turning/ milling/ grinding/ eroding/ measuring)
- Knowledge of the tool Subversion-SVN desirable
- Mathematical Comprehensive
- Geometrical & 3D imagination
- G-Code experience
- Fluent English is required
- Creativity and communication skills
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of C++ and C#
- Knowledge of the tool Subversion-SVN
- Python
